Every page is one or the other. It is how you work on something without the world watching.
The pill in the toolbar shows which a page is. Click it to switch, and it saves straight away.
Only you can see it, in the builder. Visitors to your site get a page-not-found. Use this while you are still working on something.
Live. Anyone with the address can see it, immediately — there is no delay or approval.
Your front page is the one called home. That is what people get when they type your domain with nothing after it.
Click View live in the toolbar. It opens the real page in a new tab, exactly as anyone else would see it.
